The very nature of rowing forces the body very quickly into an uncomfortable position.
Withstanding high levels of lactate and the pressure of maintaining pace is mentally exhausting and rowing requires huge mental capacity to push the body when it is physically signalling the desire to slow down.
The Soma NPT 6 week Rowing plan focuses on the mental demands of rowing and works on building a large mental capacity and lowering perception of effort, keeping atheltes moving when they are running into physical reserves.
